Releasing a first project can be nerve-wracking to some and a breeze for others. It is the beginning of establishing oneself within the music industry. Finding a sound, collaborating with people, and working out the details are all important steps. Jordi has amassed millions of followers across social media platforms, a huge accomplishment for someone who is only in her early 20’s. She is taking the next step in her career by launching herself as a music artist. While she has released singles sporadically within the past few years, this album is her official debut. Jordi is a predominantly pop album with a mixture of some upbeat and slow heartfelt tracks.

Jordi released her debut album, and it is clear that the pop sound suits her well. The first track on the album “U Know I Know” has a lively sound with distorted vocals, and while it is a fun song to listen to, the real standout songs are those in the middle of this project. “Time Zones” is an enjoyable upbeat track, while “Different” is slower and more profound. “Different” is accompanied by a music video with a wonderful dance sequence. When thinking of a solid pop track, “Keep Driving” is just exemplary; her vocals are showcased beautifully, and the overall song is simple yet so dreamy. Another standout was “Pretty Intentions”, the sound was K- Pop leaning and overall a fun listen. While listening to the entirety of the album, there is something for most pop fans, and it truly showcases Jordi’s versatility as an artist.

Overall, the 12-track project is a great first step in establishing her sound and works as an introduction to the type of artist she can evolve into.
