On June 5th, 2026 Tabi Harlowe launched her music career as an independent artist. Although she's no stranger to music, having previously starred in the National Broadway Tour of CATS The Musical, this is a different world to her. Since this is her debut single, she has yet to show the full extent of her capabilities as an artist, but this was a perfect taste of what is to come from her.
There’s Beauty In Simplicity
“Erosion” is honest, catchy and sentimental. It is performed by Harlowe with layered emotions that hold weight while at the same time feels universally easy to understand. Tabi’s voice stayed with us even after the track was over. Earlier this year she released a video submission to a contest by NPR’s Tiny Desk in which she performed “Erosion.” It is a simple but beautifully shot video that showcases her vocals along with live instruments, it was a perfect glimpse into who Tabi Harlowe is and what her current artistic direction looks like.
Lyrics That Make Us Think
Sinking into the lyrics, the song became more than just another tune. While it remains simple on the surface there’s much that can be discovered upon attentive listening. There are questions about inner and outer turmoil, life and even the world. Tabi’s single is filled with lyrics that incite conversation or deep thought.

“Too many complications To swallow down fast Between the life I had And what comes next And the time that keeps on Slipping through my hands And I wanna know now How much longer do I have”
There are questions that have no answer and that becomes part of the beauty that this track produces. We are ecstatic to follow Tabi’s flourishing journey as an independent artist.
