6LACK Makes Sadness Feel Enjoyable with “I Guess” Official Visual
The visual for “I Guess” is simple, sunflower-filled, and a whole vibe, but the lyrics behind 6LACK’s song are the opposite.

On May 22, 2026, 6LACK released his album Love is the New Gangsta; it was a 15-song project with a few collaborations. Recently, he released a visual for the song “I guess” from his album. We absolutely love it; we appreciate that even though it is simple, it maintains an artistic appeal.
The contrast between the lyrics and the song's vibrancy suggests to us that this song is about the slight hope that a relationship can be saved, or the denial that it is over. The lyrics are the reality while the melody is the hope - at least that’s one way we can interpret it. It is a conversation with himself about the relationship ending because of his own wrongdoings. At the same time, he explains his partner’s (or ex - partner’s) actions towards his pleading.
There’s Art within its Simplicity.
In the video, 6LACK is alone; the sets are filled with painted walls that mimic the sky and greenery surrounding him. A large number of sunflowers surround him and become a focal point for the eye. There are effects such as smoke, in some parts, as well as visual effects where the video goes to a dark contrast. A subtle charisma comes through the screen; his movements throughout the visualizer are easygoing and cool, which adds to it. It’s simple overall but effective for fans and new listeners who want to get an idea of who 6LACK is.
Introduction to 6LACK’s Love is the New Gangsta.
The track is only 2 minutes and 30 seconds, which is relatively short, but in under 3 minutes, 6LACK creates a song with a storyline from both his perspective and his partner's. It is only 1 song from the album, and we were hooked. We had to listen to more, and we must say “I Guess” is a perfect piece of Love is the New Gangsta to break away and entice listeners with. The album is bursting with emotion, grounded songwriting, and gorgeous production.
“I Guess” was the best introduction to this project for us, and we hope it is for others too. 6LACK is about to start his tour, which includes dates in Europe, the United States, and Canada—link to tour dates here.
